Peanut Butter Nut BallsWho is a peanut butter fan? I definitely am! These peanut butter nut balls are delicious. If you don’t happen to be a fan you can substitute with your choice of nut butter. You can also substitute any sort of nuts or seeds (sunflower & pepitas etc) in place of the mixed roasted nuts.

These balls have a firm texture with a delicious flavour combination of peanut butter and cacao and the added yumminess of crunchy nuts throughout.

Of course, each large ball or two small balls will provide you with 400mg of calcium, 9.6g protein (plus more with the addition of protein rich nuts) and no added processed sugar.

A perfect, filling, healthy snack for any time of the day.

These balls can be stored in the fridge for up to 7 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months. You can make double the batch and pop some in the freezer. Take one or two out in the morning, ready for snacking on later.

1 packet Calci-Balls
4 heaped tablespoons peanut butter (or any nut butter)
50g or 1/3 cup roughly chopped mixed roasted nuts
¼ cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon coconut oil

Ingredients of Peanut Butter Nut Balls

Place all ingredients into a bowl and combine together using a wooden spoon until the mixture starts to come together. Pinch a little mixture between your fingers to test if it is staying together. Once this happens, roll into balls and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Then enjoy.
You can also dip one side of the balls in a little melted chocolate once they are set if you want to make them a little more decadent. Mix it up and dip half in white chocolate and half in dark chocolate. Yum!
