Hazelnut and chocolate lovers can rejoice! A healthy version mixed with Calci-Balls, hazelnuts, dates and maple syrup still gives you that satisfying Nutella flavoured hit but without any preservatives or excess fats. Each ball (based on 8 serves) contains:

Note: There are 2 cups of Calci-Balls mix per bag so you can double the batch if you like and freeze some for the following week.
1 cup of Calci-Balls mix
¾ cup hazelnuts
6 medjool dates (seeds removed)
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1-2 tablespoons water (add one tablespoon at a time)
Place all ingredients, except the water, into a food processor. Blend until all ingredients are well combined. While still blending, add 1 tablespoon of water and watch until the mix starts to get a little sticky. If not, add another tablespoon of water until it does.
Once this consistency is reached, roll spoonful’s of mixture into balls and place on a tray and let them sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before eating.
