Note: To make 8 large balls or 16 small balls you can halve the ingredients. Otherwise you can make the double batch and freeze some for the following week.

For the cashew nut mix you will need:

1 cup raw cashews

1 cup rolled oats

½ cup peanut butter

¼ cup honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon water

For the choc banana mix you will need:

1 packet Nutriballs Calci-Balls

½ mashed banana

1 teaspoon coconut oil

1-2 tablespoons water as needed


  1. Cashew Nut Mix:

Place all ingredients for the cashew nut mix into a food processor and blend until all ingredients are well combined and, therefore, sticky but not wet.

Place all ingredients for the choc banana mix into a separate bowl and mix together with a spoon until the mixture starts to combine then add one tablespoon of water at a time and continue to combine until it is slightly sticky but not too wet.

Chocolate mix in food processor3. Roll heaped teaspoonfuls of mixture of each batch into a cylinder shape approximately 1 centimetre thick. With one cylinder of mixture from each batch, cross them over one another and loosely fold around each other then roll into a marble ball.

close up of calci-ball4. Once all balls are rolled, place them in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before eating. Balls will last a week stored in the fridge or they can be frozen for up to 3 months. Enjoy!
